GREEN HEMP HUMMUS CREAMY SALAD w/ GOLDEN CHICKPEAS + HEMPY PROTEIN BREAD

What’s better than having protein and healthy fat-packed creamy salad with freshly baked bread? Massaging leafy greens with lemon juice is life changing, it breaks down the hard fiber and helps incorporate with the dressing better!! This salad is super creamy, has the perfect balance of sweet & tart with a ginger kick for some anti-bloating & anti-inflammatory properties!

Ingredients:

3 big handfuls of baby spinach

Juice of half of fresh lemon

1 medium carrot, grated

1 stalk celery, chopped

1 tsp grate fresh ginger

1/2 cup Glorious Green Hemp Hummus

  • GOLDEN CHICKPEAS

1/2 cup cooked chickpeas, dried well with paper towel

1/4 tsp ground turmeric

1 tsp sweet paprika

1/2 tsp salt

Pinch of black pepper

1 tsp coconut amino or soy sauce

GOLDEN CHICKPEAS + HEMPY PROTEIN BREAD

Method:

  1. Prepare Golden Chickpeas: pre-heat oven to 170C, then combine all the ingredients together and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Massage baby spinach with fresh lemon juice, then combine with the rest of the salad ingredients.
  3. Serve with Hempy Protein Veggie Bread, macadamia and kale chips.
