Turmeric is one of my favourite spices to cook with – love its colour and the warming, anti-inflammatory benefits. This glowing turmeric oatmeal bowl paired with healthy fats from hemp seeds, and vibrant vitamins and antioxidants from fresh fruits will definitely give your breakfast a super health kick!

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1.5 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sweetener of choice e.g. coconut sugar, maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Royal Hemp hemp seeds, plus more for topping BuyNow

  1. Bring everything except hemp seeds and protein powder (if using) in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to medium, stir frequently, and cook until desired consistency.
  3. Turn off the heat, stir in hemp seeds and protein powder. Serve with more hemp seeds and toppings of choice e.g. fresh fruits, granola, nuts or seeds (pictured: fresh blueberries, chopped apples, almond butter, muesli and raspberry cookies).
  4. Take a quick shot for the gram and devour!:)
