Homemade Hemp Flax Crackers Veggie Bowl

Homemade Hemp Flax Crackers Veggie Bowl, made from gluten-free and vegan super seedy crackers, with Hemp, sunflower seeds, chia, and flax with a base of oat flour – no eggs or wheat flour needed. Ultra crispy, very healthy, and easy to boot.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of ground flaxseeds
  • 1/2 cup of almond meal
  • 1 tbs black sesame seeds
  • 1 tbs white sesame seeds
  • seasoning of choice ( I like mixed Italian herbs or dried rosemary) always lots of salt and pepper 3 tbs Royal Hemp organic cold pressed hemp seed oil 
    *water to combine start with 2 tbs and add gradually

Method:
Preheat oven to 220ºC
Mix the flax, almond meal, sesame seeds and seasonings in a big bowl until well
combined.
Add in the oil and some water and stir (or mix with hands – I find this much easier
and efficient) until a "dough" is formed… may need anywhere from 2-5 tbs of water
depending on how absorbent the flax is.
Take your dough and roll out between 2 sheets of baking paper, until a few mm
thick. (the thinner it is = crispier)
Place on baking tray in one large piece or cut into crackers prior to cooking, I like
bake as one… then break into crisps post baking and cooling 🙂
Add you favourite raw or cooked vegetables, legumes and condiment such as
beetroot hummus.
